This course is designed to add new levels to your throwing practice and to revise any areas you're unsure of to boost your making skills.

Rather than focusing on creating specific items, this course emphasizes material knowledge and experimentation to help you build robust skills.

  • Week 1:

Throwing refresher. A brief reminder of centering, pulling up and repetition.

  • Week 2:

All things trimming - Throwing jars and lidded forms, throwing and self-directed practice

Build up your own bespoke body of work, ready for a glazing workshop (included in this ticket). The glazing course will be held after 2 weeks to ensure time for your work to be fired.
